'Autumn Caribou Crossing'

This awesome photo of caribou splashing their way across an esker water crossing during the August/September autumn colour change was taken by US photographer Steven Barger on a 'Caribou Musk-oxen & Northern Lights' tour to northern Canada with Great Canadian Wilderness Adventures in 2004. This same photo was also used as the cover photo for the World Wildlife Fund book 'Caribou & the North - A Shared Future'.
