This awesome photo of caribou splashing their way across an esker water crossing during the August/September autumn colour change was taken by US photographer Steven Barger on a 'Caribou Autumn Colours & Aurora' tour to northern Canada with Great Canadian Wildlife Adventures. This photo was also used as the cover for the World Wildlife Fund book 'Caribou & the North - A Shared Future'.
