Very few people have been fortunate enough to experience the exquisite pleasures & finesse of fly-fishing the remote tundra lakes and rivers of the Canadian Far North!

The Thelon River, located at the most western reaches of the Territory of Nunavut - has been deemed by the Fisheries Department as one of the best habitats for Arctic grayling in North America!  The grayling run huge here - the average size bring 2.5 lbs., with many running to the 4.5 range.  The largest to date was 5.2 lbs. - just short of the worlds record!  Huge lake trout and northern pike are also found in abundance along this section of river!

This coming August, we are offering a special opportunity to float the central Thelon River on the remote tundra. Using canoes with motorized zodiac support, we will float, camp and fish along a 50-mile section of the seldom-visited & rarely fished Thelon River.

This area is also rich with Arctic wildlife - and during this special expedition there will be opportunities of seeing musk-oxen herds, tundra wolves, moose, and migrating barrenground caribou herds!
