Well, farewell peek, actually - at the 'Crystal' densite, located on a forested island on a remote tundra lake in the Canadian barrenlands. This photo was taken minutes before the pup followed its mother away from the den to an unknown rendezvous site further down the island. This site also was resident to a nesting peregrine falcon.
